£777 OR NEAREST OFFER...... I purchased two identical machines a while ago and they turned out so well I am keeping one, and selling the other. The final photograph shows the two. In fact one has a slightly different speaker panel on the front. I would be prepared to sell either, or both at the right money. THIS PRICE IS FOR ONE JUKEBOX. Jukebox was made in 1987 in the USA by Rowe AMI. Work carried out: AMPLIFIER - Output transistors replaced these fail and the jukebox looses either the left or right channel, and the sound quality lessens. The operators used to just switch the jukebox to mono and let it continue running. LIGHTING - New starters, and two 30watt fluorescent tubes have been changed. New minature lamps installed. CABINET - Wiring inside cabinet has been reduced as over the years operators make changes and bodge things! Coin mech and coin shutes removed. COMPUTER - Serviced and is fully working. New battery with a clip in holder, so when it runs out you can change this without calling an engineer or having to get a soldering iron out. In normal use they last 10 years+ however if batteries leak they can damage the PCB as Rowe AMI have not always used button cells. See photo. MECHANISM - PCB serviced, new STYLUS installed. SOUND SYSTEM - The two original woofers (10 inch) have been replaced. The old ones deteriate after time, and perish. I see an awful lot of Rowe AMI 70s and 80s jukeboxes with rotten speakers! This machine has had two new 250 watt drivers installed. POWER SUPPLY - Regulator upgraded and NOS regulator fitted. In all (on parts alone) I have already spent a lot of money so in the future you will not have to. Please be aware this unit is 27 years old so I can not offer a warranty. However as 'piece of mind' I was a jukebox and pinball engineer for many years so you know this machine should last you well. Rowe AMI jukeboxes in my opinion are the best sounding. It has a 135 watt powerful stereo amp which has controls for bass and treble (like your stereo). It holds 100 7" vinyl singles, and you can select the A or B side making it a 200 selection machine. Machine comes with the manual. It is on FREEPLAY so NO COINS CAN BE TAKEN EVER so please do not think about using this on a commercial bassis. Collection from Bournville, Birmingham but will have to be at a mutually agreeable time. These fit in larger estate cars (check measurements first!) layed on its back, I will also remove the mech for transportation. This is easy to re-install when you get it home. The mech is the only part that can not stand being 'thrown around' - the unit is very robust. Can arrange delivery at an extra cost. A full tutorial will be given on operating the jukebox as well as installing the records and changing title cards. It is easier than you think. There are imperfections on the casing. It is 27 years old after all. The main blue part of the jukebox is fibreglass so can easily be resprayed with car paint. The rest of the cabinet is wood. I would take PX with hifi turntables, quality electric guitar(s), valve guitar amps, Fractal axe FX ultra, or touch screen digital jukeboxes - or just try me with 'What Have You' - worst thing I can say is no.
